This Is a Revolution of Rage and Anger

You may as well ask the hypocrites and charlatans who have seized control of Egypt what has brought about this new revolution because it is their actions, and lack of actions, that have brought the citizens of Egypt back to the streets of Tahrir, Cairo, Alexandria and more. And this time, they are there to stay.

The people of Egypt felt they had won their freedom through peaceful demonstration after Hosni Mubarak conceded defeat and stepped down from office. Unfortunately, the current leadership did not learn their lesson from the first revolution. They have been lax in their pace to implement change, and the changes that have been implemented have not been substantial enough to satisfy anyone.

The youth of the revolution waited anxiously to see the affect of their resilience, cautiously appearing patient, they were in fact swelling like over-filled balloons and they have now collectively popped with a cataclysmic force that will no longer be satisfied or placated by mere words or shadow actions. This time, they must be served justice and many of them would like that in for shape of Mubarak’s head.

There were many innocent and beautiful people martyred in dispicable and heinous acts of bloodshed and savagery stemming from the #Jan25 revolution of Egypt; good people from every walk of life. There is no replacing their loved ones, friends and neighbors who lost their lives for simply being in the wrong place at the wrong time, having never had intent to cause anyone in life harm, ever.

There is no forgiveness forthcoming.

Procrastinations are being used with the intent of assuaging the feelings of the protesters. For each delay, each villain given pass, it is as they are dragging their heels through the blood of martyrs. Loved ones slain needlessly in the name of freedom and justice for all.

Apparently those currently attempting to demonstrate control of the country have not yet realized, that after so many years of abuse, intolerance and corruption that the populace feels as if it has been humiliated and shamed. To delay the justice they so peacefully sought and so bloodily paid for while in the eyes of the world is a disgrace that will not be tolerated. With violent examples increasingly surrounding them, it will not be long before the good people of Egypt change their tactics and use any means necessary to gain control of their country.

It is particularly important to understand how personal this is for the people of Egypt. Those who have been taken advantage of for so long realize that they are partially liable for tolerating such behavior from their government for so long.

It as if a giant cloud has blocked the sun for many years and only now been lifted by a new generation that does not believe in clouds. Their recent and collective epiphany has brought the two generations together, both now believing in clouds and and in their ability to wish them away.

This renewed revolt is spawned by even more passion and vigor, each and every one knows that this time there can be no relent until their demands are met. Many are prepared not to return to normal life for a long, long time. While some few protesters have been released, many have not been and more have been taken. Murderers of innocent people have not been properly prosecuted because of their uniform or status. Thousands have been tortured, detained and oppressed and the people of the revolution feel that justice must be served by the law and will of God before their country can have peace.

Do not stall the trial of corrupt officials and police!

Do not bargain with the blood of martyrs!

The revolution of the youth cry out. They will not tolerate intolerance for peaceful demonstration against a corrupt and abusive system. They will not be anesthetized in preparation for slaughter like sheep to the slaughter.

For many, these feelings of rage and anger have accumulated for decades and there are no more chances for the regime to fail them. The straw has broken the camel’s back, so to speak.

For those who stood side by side with their friends, neighbors and strangers watching innocent and unarmed people die in the streets, there can be no appeasement. With modern media and military intelligence, there will be no mass slaughters like the ones used to silence previous resistance.

This time, the rage of the youth will not be quenched until Egypt has Freedom. And Justice.
